Hornet fly-by

Postby carsenault » Mon Jul 19, 2010 7:54 pm

I was busy putting together a dining sett when I heard some loud shreaking jet engines. I ran to the patio door in time to see a CF-18 in a climbing right bank. Too far away to see if it was a single or dual seater. Must have been doing a fly-by for the opening ceremonies of the World Junior Track and Field championships being held here in town, Ill be checking Airliners.net tomorrow to see if anyone has any pics of the Hornet

They have been busy as of late........pair flew over PEI when Regis and Kelly were there.

Another pair flew over to kick off the Toronto Indy race, and now this one over Moncton.

That is the one, and only one thing I regret from moving from Lincoln is I don't get to see/hear the aircraft coming in and out....on a brighter note, since I have moved, I no longer have the fear of one of the students dropping a plane on my head!
Thanks
Scott
